Ibram X. Kendi Falsely Claims He Is Not A Critical Race Theorist

by

Ibram X. Kendi, an “anti-racist” grifter who profits off of teaching racism, falsely claimed that he is not a critical race theorist on Wednesday night despite his long track record of using the Marxist ideology in his work.

Aided by MSNBC’s Joy Reid during her debate with anti-critical race theory investigative journalist Christopher Rufo, Kendi denied his ties to critical race theory and tried to distance himself from the movement which has received a deluge of pushback from concerned parents, educators, and conservatives.

“I admire critical race theory but I don’t identify as a critical race theorist, I’m not a legal scholar, so I wasn’t trained on critical race theory. I’m a historian,” Kendi said in a statement to The ReidOut.

Two weeks prior in a Slate podcast interview, however, Kendi claimed that his “anti-racism work” has been “inspired” by critical race theorists but that he considers critical race theory to be “foundational to my work.”

Last night, Ibram Kendi told Joy Reid he had zero connection with critical race theory.

But two weeks ago, he said critical race theory was “foundational” to his work.

During her interview with Rufo, Reid used Kendi’s lie to further misconstrue the debate around critical race theory and redefine terms to claim that the racist curriculum being taught in schools under the guise of “intersectionality” are actually two “separate” topics. She also furthered her role as one of the many corporate media outlets to lie about critical race theory and its prevalence by claiming that Robin DiAngelo and Barbara Applebaum are not technically critical race theorists even though they regularly teach the “whiteness” concepts present in the theory.

Reid has a history of manipulating language and terminology to gaslight her viewers into believing the leftist talking points that she so regularly spews. Just a few months after the race-motivated summer of rage ripped through cities across the nations costing Americans billions of dollars, Reid said there was “zero evidence” that the Black Lives Matter movement ever advocated for violence.

“There is absolutely zero, none, zero evidence that Black Lives Matter has ever pushed for anything violent, pushed for anything violent to happen to police,” Reid proclaimed before stating that the organization has “never advocated violence against police.”
